Maurice M. Gray, Jr. is a full time author, editor, speaker and comedian.

He is the author of two novels, To Whom Much Is Given and All Things Work Together, and a contributor to three anthologies: Blessed Assurance (Literally Speaking Publishing 2003), The Soul Of A Man (Peace In The Storm Publishing 2009) and Home Again (Micah 6:8 Books, LLC 2010).

Maurice has edited several books, including Ocean View by Fred Gaines, Butterfly Wings by Rev. Shirell McNeill, And Then Some by Teressa Leath and most recently, Business Unusual by Dr. Linda F. Beed.

Maurice previously worked as an HIV Prevention Counselor at the Beautiful Gate Outreach Center; in this capacity, he regularly educated men, women and teenagers about HIV/AIDS.

He currently serves on the faculty of the Greater Philadelphia Christian Writers Conferences, where he evaluates manuscripts for conferees and teaches workshops. As a Christian comedian, Maurice has worked with the likes of James “The Storyteller” Ford and Pat “Sister Betty” G’orge-Walker.

Maurice worships at Bethel AME Church in Wilmington, DE, where he is active in many ministries (including the Singles Ministry and the Men's Chorus). He is also a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc and of the Greater Newark Area Toastmasters club. He lives in New Castle, DE with his family.
